Doofus Dad is officially out in the world
Wow. There are some moments in life that seem transcendent. For example:
- Getting your driver’s license.
- Losing your virginity. (I think it was, actually, a moment.)
- Marrying your sweetheart.
- Welcoming your first child into the world.
- And of course, announcing to everybody via a book that you are, in fact, a doofus.
With today’s release of my first book, “Doofus Dad Does Everest Base Camp,” I can check all of these off. The book, which describes my April 2018 trek to Mt. Everest Base Camp with Holly and 13 other intrepid adventurers, was released today as an ebook on Amazon, Kobo, and the Barnes & Noble website. The paperback and audiobook versions come later this week.
If you like my writing — and I’m assuming you do since you’re seeing this post — I really hope you’ll read the book. If you do, please leave the following review:
“This book was so amazing and gripping, I read the entire thing in one sitting. Literally, I didn’t move for like six hours, had meals fed to me so I could keep my eyes on the page, and subsequently, was required to pee in a bottle. Doofus Dad Does Everest Base Camp will clearly win this year’s Pulitzer Prize. It won’t even be close.”
Or something like that. It doesn’t have to be that exactly. Use your own incredibly glowing words.
I appreciate your support! God Bless America!
